Waterfall Bay is a region known for its tunnels, caverns and caves. One of the most spectacular is known as Cathedral Cave with its huge entrance and many back passage ways. They are considered as Australia's best ocean cave dives, walls covered in sponges and colourful invertebrates, and several require cave training to make it safe to explore them.
Besides Cathedral Cave and Patersons Arch you can find many other sites in Waterfall Bay, including some excellent walls to 18m, swim-throughs and bommies, which are suitable for divers of all levels of experience. There is also an area at the back of Waterfall Bay where Weedy Seadragons are commonly seen - this is also an area suitable for divers of all levels of experience.
