The Hole of Death is a very interesting volcanic hole only accessible in good weather and quiet seas.

On one side of the Western rock is the Hole of Death which is a circular volcanic throat with its bottom lined with rounded boulders. It is so named because the entry channel to this pit can only be used in very calm seas. Water surges rapidly in and out the entrance channel at most times.
