The granite fingers extending from the eastern end of the island have given this dive site its name Michaelmas Island Fingers. At the end of the fingers there is a mass of canyons/crevasses which are covered in huge gorgonian fans; soft and hard corals and endless color. This dive site is a photographers dream with numerous unusual macro creatures and unbelievable fish life.
