Ladies Reef is a small reef only a short distance from shore. The reef is covered with soft corals and colorful sponges, and provides for an extremely relaxing dive. At a depth of 10 meters the circular shaped reef is very easy to navigate around with your dive buddy. Macro photographers will especially enjoy the numerous species of juvenile fish, nudibranchs, decorator crabs, hingebeak shrimp, cowries, moray eels, cuttlefish and so much more. This site has it all!

Ladies Reef is ideal for night dives as it is usually sheltered from the weather, is not prone to currents and has very easy access to the site. Only a short swim is needed to reach the site from shore, and the reef comes alive with all the resident fish from the entire area.

Lady Reef is a small, tennis court size, reef off the Front Beach in South West Rocks. She is a great spot for a shore dive, for night dives and also for beginners. Expect to see moray eels, catfish, feather stars, resident fish including puffers, soft corals and sponges and possibly a juvenile Wobbegong shark or Port Jackson shark.
