Milln Reef is one of the most popular reefs near Cairns with several world class dive sites.

Milln Reef has something to offer to all level of divers, beginners as well as advanced and professionals. It is located 60 kilometers east of Cairns and popular by live-aboard cruises and day-tour diving operators when the weather is good. It is designated as a green zone Marine National Park with limited fishing to protect this fantastic reef from being ruined. Milln Reef has excellent wall and swim-throughs, large numbers of smaller fish and also some sharks, barracudas, turtles and rays. Its shallow dives are very suitable for night dives where you can spot sleeping turtles, crabs and lobsters. Popular dive sites are Three Sisters, Whale Bommie, Swimming Pools 1 and 2 and Petaj Mooring, all rich in corals and marine fish.
