The wall at China Wall drops down to more than 900 meters of depth. The wall is covered with soft corals, sponges and gorgonian fans up to 5 meters of length. Sea whips and hard coral can be found as well. You will see clownfish in beautiful anemone, rainbow runners, cuttle fish, mackerel, tuna, morays, trevally and sharks. It is an interesting wall dive with a lot of life and color.
Flinders reef is an atol of 28km wide and 37km long. It is out of reach of daily dive boats from Townsville and Magnetic Island, so to get there you have to take a live-aboard. Visibility is excellent, marine and coral life is divers and fish inhabit the area in large numbers.
