The Whitsunday’s is definitely one of the most touristy places in Australia. Sail boats, white heaven beach are just a few names that bring memories to many travelers and are considered a must see to many people. Diving is good as well. Many dive sites have appeared near the Whitsunday Islands, but the dive sites at the outer reefs are slightly better because of their greater visibility.
Water temperatures are nice between 24 and 28 degrees and the land climate is great year around. It is slightly less during the hot and wet season from December to March when flooding and cyclones can occur. But actually, there is not really a time that you cannot go diving in this part of Australia.
